We retain the right to first pick of any kids born, including pairings with reservations. We do our best to mark down any pairings we are considering retaining out of, that way we dont "oversell" reservations.

That being said reservations are FREE. We only require a deposit to hold kids after they are born and you have picked yours out. Once a deposit is put down that kid is yours. We will NOT decide to retain or sell elsewhere after a deposit has been placed. More detailed information below!

After a kid is born, a 50% deposit is required to hold the kid until weaning. 

ex. a kid is $300 so you pay $150 after picking it out, and the remaining $150 at pickup.

Deposits are NONREFUNDABLE. We will do our part to hold the kid until weaning and the scheduled pickup date. If you decide to back out, or cease contact for 2 weeks or more, your deposit and kid are forfeit. 

If the kid has a defect, is severely injured or dies you have the option of rolling over your reservation to another pairing or receiving a refund of your deposit. 

Our doelings are weaned at 12 weeks, and bucklings at 8 weeks. Kids must be picked up within 2 weeks of weaning. Depending on the day and the distance we may be able to meet partway, but it must be discussed and confirmed with us beforehand. If you are unable to pickup within 2 weeks of weaning we have the right to cancel the sale, and your deposit and kid will be forfeit, as it would be a breach of policy on your end. Exceptions for pickup date can be made for certain circumstances and must be discussed before the 2 week pickup period is over. 

Kids can leave on the bottle upon request, but must be picked up within 2 weeks of being born.

Kids will be disbudded and tattooed within 1 week of age (no exceptions). Our does get CDT one month before kidding so its passed to kiddos via colostrum. After that they get CDT at 3 and 8 weeks of age. We also give toltrazuril as a coccidia preventative at 3 and 8 weeks of age. Kids will come with a physical registration application OR will be registered and transferred online depending on preference and ability.

If you are purchasing a grown animal, we only require a 50% deposit if you are picking them up more than 1 week after you confirm you'd like to make the purchase. Grown animals come with papers (if registered) and up to date on CDT and hoof trims.
