Malibu is a two year old first freshener. This year she peaked at 4.6 lbs and 8% butterfat. Unfortunately her 4.6lbs never made it on test due to a family emergency, and she wasnt tested again until she was mostly dried off. That being said she did hold that 4.6 lbs every day until we started to dry her off, and we cant wait to see her on test next year where she can really reflect that capacity on paper.
UPDATE 1/1/26
Malibu milked 2.84 lbs of milk on her first 12 hour fill of the season at 1.5 weeks fresh. Putting her on track for an estimated 5.6lbs for the day. Cant wait to see this doe on test!
